Lost and Found Pets
Having your pet registered and microchipped as well as having identification tags on their collars, gives you the highest probability that your pet will be returned to you should they go missing.
If you have lost your pet the first place to contact is your local council. They should have a record of all the currently impounded animals and may be able to assist in locating them.
You should contact the local council with the following details;
Date lost/found
Your name and address
Your telephone number
The breed of the animal
The sex of the animal
Identification (e.g. registration/microchip number, whether they were wearing a tag.)
